Retirement
After a great deal of thought and deliberation, I have decided to retire as Junior Organiser of Frodsham Golf Club.
The decision has not been an easy one and is in many ways a sad one. However because of my age and family commitments I believe now is the time to go. This has been my decision and mine alone, and it is not governed by any actions or words from external sources. Regrets, yes, I will have regrets for taking this decision, and they will be on my mind for many days to come. However I believe it is time for fresh ideas and a new driving force to lead the junior section forward.
I will miss the regular and pleasant meetings with all the juniors, on competition days and on Club Nights. Frodsham Golf Club has a brilliant squad of talented youngsters who all have massive potential. They have brought great credit to themselves and the Club with their conduct on and off the course. Long may it continue.
My thanks go to the parents who have given their time and support in assisting me, particularly Rob Martin who has been outstanding, especially on Club Nights. Thanks also to Graham for his one to one coaching under the sponsorship package. To my replacement I wish every success with the junior section. I also wish every single junior member the very best for the future. I am quite sure that they will give the new Junior Organiser their continued support as they gave me.
