Juniors' Section
Is 2010 going to be a good year for the Junior Section? If the promise shown by a number of players last year is anything to go by, then the answer is a big YES. For this year the Junior Captain will be Jonny Murray, who made great strides last year to reduce his handicap. He is aiming to emulate his older brother who plays off 2 and was himself Junior Captain in 2004. I expect Jonny to lead the section by example, following on from Peter Reynolds who had a very good year in the role. The crucial point to remember is that the section is only as good as its members, so it is up to each and every one of you to make it a success by supporting the competitions and encouraging new members to join. |

Please book into ALL competitions in the Pro’s shop, either personally or by telephone. (The entry list opens 2 weeks before the date of the comp.) Entry fee remains at £2.00.
It is essential that all juniors should note the dress code when playing at Frodsham and at other courses.
RESULTS
Tuesday 16th February 2010.
There were 8 entrants but only 6 finished, due to 2 injuries – thankfully not serious.
In 1st place was Adrian Bennett with 40 points winning on a card play off
In 2nd place was Jonny Murray with 40 points
In 3rd place was Chris Martin.
Thursday the 18th February 2010.
This time only six players entered.
In 1st place was Michael Gibbons with 42 points – (handicap now reduced to 8)
In 2nd place was Chris Martin with 38 points – (handicap adjustment also)
