Here are some handy hints to enable you to get the best out of your your membership at Frodsham Golf Club.
OBTAINING A HANDICAP
A valid Frodsham Golf Club handicap is required to play in Frodsham Golf Club competitions. To obtain a Frodsham Golf Club Handicap new members are required by CONGU to submit three signed score cards to the Handicap Committee for handicap assessment. Please note you must putt out on all holes.
The three cards can be marked by any Member of Frodsham Golf Club who holds a valid Frodsham Golf Club handicap.
Once completed please mark the cards for the attention of the Handicap Secretary and place them in the Handicap Box which is located in the Lobby by the Professional’s Shop.
Details of Frodsham Golf Club members willing to mark cards for New Members can be obtained from the Professional’s Shop.
If you hold a CONGU recognised handicap certificate from your previous Golf Club, and it is less than six months old, please mark the certificate for the attention of the Handicap Secretary and place it together with a copy of your Full Handicap Record in the Handicap Box which is located in the Lobby by the Professional’s Shop.
For New Members who hold a CONGU recognised handicap certificate which is greater than six months old, the certificate is deemed by CONGU to have lapsed and you are required to submit three new signed score cards to the Handicap Committee for handicap assessment, using the process as described above.
